Peas!

Peas!  There's nothing like fresh peas:  English peas, Snow Peas, Sugar snap peas.  They're all so sweet and crunchy!

🌱  There's nothing like the taste and texture of a fresh pea, though.

🌱  The simplest way to divide up the pea types are into field peas, grown mostly for animal forage and to dry and garden peas, with their higher sugar content and fresh flavor.

Yes, sweet potatoes contain more sugar than regular potatoes but about half the starch in general.  

The good thing is that both sweet potatoes and regular potatoes contain resistant starch which means the starch takes a longer time to convert to sugar in your body.  Plus, unlike other sugary snacks, they are nutrient dense.  

​So satisfy that sweet craving with sweet potatoes!

Beets are one of nature's bodily cleansers, which is great to combat the toxic world we live in.
